Rothenburg

This town really is impossibly pretty. We spent the day exploring it. The buildings are all four to six stories high with incredibly steep roofs covered with clay tiles. Many have beautiful flower boxes and the businesses have wonderful iron signs. Everywhere there are cuckoo clocks, beer steins, Christmas ornaments, and wood carvings for sale. The old city walls and most of its towers are almost all intact in spite of World War II bombing. We also love our little Air BnB apartment and the weather has been perfect. The beer is not bad either!
