Goodbye Scotland and Julie

Julie and I had planned to hike up Ben Nevis on our last day in Scotland but we awoke to bad weather-you couldn't see the bottom of the mountains let alone the top (good excuse!). So we spent the day wandering around Fort William and then boarded a train for Glasgow. It was fun to retrace our steps through the Highlands via moving vehicle-we could see just how much ground we covered and how wild it really was. It was a great sister adventure.

After a night in a hotel at the Glasgow Airport, Julie flew home and I flew to Frankfurt via London. The trip took most of the day and it was evening when I found my lodgings in Frankfurt. Frankfurt looked like a nice place but, other than a drink in a pub, I didn't have long to enjoy it.
